October month Reflection

In October month, we learn about communicative tool. Communicative tool means any device, method or software which is used to facilitate communication between individuals or groups. Communicative tool can include verbal communication,written communication and visual aids. But in this ICT module,we had focused on digital platforms/technology that enables people to exchange information and ideas through internet. Social media, email and video conferencing falls under communicative tool. But as a future teacher, we had focused more on platforms that will use in the school. We learn how to create goggle classroom under communicative tool. Google classroom allows teachers to create and organise assignments,distribute and collect work,provide feedback,and communicate with students. Students can access their assignments, submit work and communicate with their teachers and classmate through the platform. I had used Google classroom during Covid-19 time, that is in the year 2020 for the first time but I had no idea how it was created by the teachers. However, through this module(EDT), I had came to know how Google classroom was created by the teacher and give access to the students through email address. Creating Google classroom was an amazing journey for me as I had no previous idea about how it was operated by the teachers.We can upload notes in the Google classroom and can even add emoji/sticker at the side. It was so much fun to create Google classroom. We can even arrange the work in weekly basis and we can set the due date for the assignments. Therefore, I enjoyed learning about create Google docs in Co-constructive tool. We not only learn about communicative tools but we also learn about Co-constructive tool in October month. Co-constructive tool allows for collaborative and interactive learning and communication between teachers and students. It enables both teachers and students to actively participate in the learning process,share ideas, provide feedback and work together to develop knowledge. In Co-constructive tool, we can work together to achieve same goal. To achieve the same goal, we need not have to come together physically but can be done individually in different setting. For this tool, we develop a lesson plan in Google docs. Our group use ASSURE Model to carry out our lesson plan. Though we were in different places, we had develop a lesson plan together.

Title: The boy from the bus ride. Genre: Fiction Chapter :Three Deki and Zangmo went back to their respective seat after some time. Deki took a packet of chips from the black plastic which was inside her bag pack. She shared the chips with her seatmate. Zangmo's seatmate also came inside the bus carrying a small backpack and a mineral water bottle in his left hand. He silently took his seat and called someone on his mobile. Deki heard him say that the journey from Wangkha would start soon. She guessed the person on the other line was his father because she heard him saying "Apa" in the call. Reflection (August month)

In August month, I learn about the topic understanding of ICT in Education. From that power point slides, I came to know that ICT plays an important role in 21st century. The some of the Importance of ICT in Education are: We can able to create resource based teaching in the form of images, videos, text and audio. We can easily access to information and resources using ICT. If we have doubt and want to clarify the doubt, we can quickly search for information from the net. "We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher's hand,because it is the pen and the paper of our time,and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world"~ David Warlick.
